John Gilroy's studio is located in central southwest Michigan – Kalamazoo. Photo shoots throughout the Midwest, the East and the South are routinely scheduled without the expense of airfare and include any lighting, film or digital format which best matches the job. John has traveled across the U.S. for jobs such as the International Paper Annual Report, across Canada for the Emco Annual Report (division of MASCO) and internationally for jobs such as the Upjohn Company Annual Report (Pharmacia/Pfizer).

Location Specialist

John Gilroy has the experience, skills and lighting equipment to travel to any site to interpret the client's photography needs. He often gets all of his input from clients over the phone or internet when procedures or budgets preclude having an art director or corporate communications person at the photography site. He has done these types of jobs throughout the country and internationally. John uses his people skills to arrange the logistics of the photo shoot and his creative skills to find the subject matter and visual approach with the best potential to communicate the client's message in the most interesting manner.
